la huaca was an original home in Boquete, remarkable with foundation walls a foot thick concrete and nicely done
hardwood windows. The re-modeling in late 2000 created a restaurant featuring Argentine-style BBQ and a most
unique (in Boquete) hardwood bar. Several additional iterations of business have occurred since mid-2001, but
the bar area remains, even with the original ceramic tiles. The outside area was enclosed and provided more
eating space, then a pool parlor; and, now a rec area. The majority of the upper areas have been re-directed to
office use (real estate a primary business here), and one of the dining rooms now an Internet Access site. The bar
still remains operating, featuring now mainly a cafe and wine service.
The lower floor rooms have been converted to daily rental rooms; simple, yet comfortable. That also includes the
one we made into a Wine Cellar in 2000. The original Accounting Office, a small casita on lower level, also has
been converted to a daily-rent room. Parking is limited on the street, and on lower level for perhaps 15-20 cars.
Main building area is approx 430 mtr2 (abt 4300 sq ft), total land is 1900 mtr2. All utilities are already in place.
