Panama Jet Boat Explorer is For Sale
What's for sale?
1.  Company (S.A.) of 30+ years, established for serving the tourism industry by Airline ticketing and packages of
various types.  Currently, the feature of airline ticketing has been suspended owing the present market serving.
A simple process could re-establish that feature (if a new owner so desired).  Company (S.A.) is structured to
serve as an umbrella for the Tour Boat business currently being served.

2.  Boat, is an all-aluminum Jet-Craft built for year 1997 and first operated in Panama Jan 1997, as a private
pleasure craft.  All licences are active for serving the tourism business, under Panama's IPAT category
"Transporte Turistico Maritimo".  Servicio Maritimo inspections are effective, as are all Insurances for
craft
damage and loss
, as well as Personal Injury for passengers.

3.  Considerable back ground information on the history of the area and photographs of the various locations
the boat has been employed, as either a private Pleasure Craft, or as an active maritime transport for tourism.
Also, current C-Map charts, including routes employed in past trips.

4.  Website, hosted by Yahoo.com, currently receiving more than 1,000 page hits per month with a 5-10%
increase monthly.  In excess of 35 pages on the website and more than 50 reciprocal sites on our pages.  At this
time, more than 80% of our clients are from Internet sources, the balance are local.

5.  Tours have been very well received, in spite of the upper level cost, which has also been a slight hindrance to
growth, as well as our remote home locale of Boquete causing 1-2 day to response times.

6.  Since the majority of our tours enter the Indigenous Comarca, we have developed a strong relationship with
the local Indigenous Government Officials, as well as with the populous as a whole.
Why are we selling?
Seafaring activities generally require good physical conditioning, a love of the sea and some extreme venture
attitude, as well as a strong desire to serve the needs of the clients.  With advancing age, a shift in priorities and
a desire to continue living in Boquete, vice Bocas del Toro, the logic became evident that someone a bit younger
could instill some "new life" into a great Tourism Activity, as well as could take advantage of the strong base we
have already established  from which to build upon.

A recent second, more compelling reason of divesting the company is, that Yari has suffered a muscular
problem that prevented her participation on the tours.  In that we have operated as a team and built the
company's tour service on that premise, we have deemed it best to not separate ourselves in this venture.  In
that our clients have often remarked "One of the best tours in Panama!", it seemed prudent to offer this potential
business to someone who would be interested in continuing and building upon our foundation.  Yari is capable
now, but we're both feeling a bit of our age, so seems best we relinquish our ownership.

These early photos of Aguila in Panama were taken some 20 Km up the Rio Cricamola, off the Laguna de Chiriqui, when we
were supporting an investigation of potential river rafting locales.  This clearly demonstrates some of the versatility of this
shallow draft craft.

Company and Licenses:
The company, Servicios Turisticos Internacionales, S.A., is operating as an Umbrella for Panama Jet Boat Explorer (similar to a
dba corporation action), and was established more than 30 years ago.  It was closed under a Temporary basis in 2001; and we
re-opened it in 2003 to serve as the S.A. or Inc. over the PMJBE dba title.  In that process we have obtained and hold IPAT
status as "Transporte Turistico Maritimo", which both allows our use of the company/craft in transporting tourists, as well as
coming under the Ley 8 Tourism exemption law.  All taxes for importation have been paid, and the required inspections
completed by both Servicio Maritimo and IPAT agencies.  Louis is licensed within Panama to pilot this type service craft (also
hold a USCG 100 Ton N.C. License, not required here).
Flagging under Panama is now in final process, requiring only a further
inspection after the boat repairs have been completed and in-water tested.  PMA Docs: HO-4752 and 1515-PINT have been
assigned to this craft.

In addition to the Panamanian Government requirements, there are also the Indigenous Comarca requirements for access
into their territories.  We have developed a strong, firm relationship with the governing councils, and have permits to travel
within the 3 locale sectors we serve with our tours.  We also employ some of the indigenous and their craft to provide some
of the river tour actions.

Louis and Yari with Aguila at the Bocas Marina and Yacht Club, where we build a ramp to bring her out of the salt water when
not in use.  PVC tubing was added later, which greatly assists the launch and retrieval of the craft.
Aguila at Isla Escudo de Veraguas, Cotton Bay
One of our favorite locales, is Cotton Bay at Isla Escudo de Veraguas, where we are commencing development of a small,
up-scale resort on about 6-10 Ha of this area that we have direct access to.

When operating out of Chiriqui Grande, we moor next to the PTP pier (with their
permission) and this shot shows the large swim step and raised ladder, which makes
this craft an ideal SCUBA and Snorkel support craft.
